Hi Everyone! I hope we all had a good week and got on ok with the work. Remember you can email me at any time for help or just to say hello on mshargadonstabannon@gmail.com. If you haven't signed up for Seesaw and would like to, just send me an email and I will get back to you. The work for this week is attached below, with any resources needed in the document. Remember you don't have to you the resources you can make your own versions of them if you want. Our Aistear theme this week is the Seaside Cafe and I thought it would tie in nicely with our teddy bears picnic. Every year around this time of year in Junior and Senior Infants some very special visitors spend the day with us. They get to see what we get up to in school and then we all have a picnic outside. Unfortunately we won't be able to that together this year, so I thought it would be nice if we all had a picnic with our teddies and our families at home. I hope you will enjoy it and send me in some photos of it. Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to hearing from you next week. Ms Hargadon
Hi Everyone! I hope we all had a good week this week on your pirate adventures. I loved seeing your photos of what you got up to. I had a very busy week at sea. I set off on my adventure last weekend. The weather was lovely. I think I might even have spotted a few of you in the distance on your pirate ships! I didn't find any treasure when I was at sea. All I found were crabs and seaweed! When I was sailing my boat home I had a little accident and crashed my boat! It is now under water. Though I was very lucky as I walked home I spotted some very special treasure left by all the boys and girls who live near me. I hope you all enjoy looking at what everyone got up to this week. I can't wait to see what adventures you get up to next week.

Dear Parents:
I am delighted to share with you that our school will be using Seesaw (http://seesaw.me), a secure online journal where students can document and reflect on what they are learning at home. Your child will be able to add the things they work on (including photos, videos, worksheets, drawings and voice recordings) to their Seesaw journal and can share them privately with the teacher to view and comment on. In order for your child to use Seesaw, the app needs your child’s name in order to be able to associate work like their photos, videos or voice recordings with their account. Seesaw only uses this information to provide the service and doesn’t advertise in Seesaw, create profiles of students, or share or sell your child’s personal information or journal content. You can read more about their strong privacy promises here: https://web.seesaw.me/privacy. Under an EU law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in order for your child to use Seesaw, the school must get your consent. If you give your child permission to use Seesaw please send an email ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY to mshargadonstabannonschool@gmail.com requesting a code for your child. Codes will be emailed on Friday 25th May and tasks will be available to you from this date. If brothers/sisters are going to use Seesaw too they will need their own code. It does mean logging in and out and putting in your code. (TIP: keep you code written down, maybe in your Homework Journal) I hope that your child will enjoy using Seesaw to document and share their learning. This weeks maths answers. Don't forget if you have any problems with the work, please let me know. Ms Hargadon
