New Books
Thanks to everyone who supported the Book Fair. With the money we made we were able to buy lots of new books for our book clubs. 3rd and 4th class are looking forward to reading them.
Readathon Winners
Well done to everyone who took part in the read thin this year. A big well done to the winners too.

World book day 2019
We kicked off our World Book Month on Monday 4th March. There are lots of different things happening in the school over the month. We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 7th March. Our annual readathon is running for the month. Again this year we are doing Share a Story, encouraging children to enjoy reading and reading with others. Book club is happening in Third and Fourth Class. We are asking children to take a Shelfie again this year. Have a look at last years below, or take a look if you are in the school. We have a notice board with different activities up on it. One of these is 'It's a Mystery'. Each day a new clue will be put up. You have to guess the author from these clues-parents feel free to take a guess if you are in the school.
Shelfies
Thanks to everyone who brought in a photo of them with their bookcase at home.

Book club
We love reading in Stabannon. So much so we have set up lots of book clubs in classes 3rd to 6th. We meet once a week to pick and discuss the books we are reading.
