This month we have been learning all about ourselves. We have been busy doing lots of different things, including learning all about our 5 senses. Today we explored our senses at five different stations. We explored sounds with musical instruments, stethoscopes and cup and chord phones. We explored different smells and tastes, including coffee, mint, sugar and salt. We described and tried to guess what was in our feely bag. We did some eye tests and used a magnifying glass to see things clearer. It was great fun.
Here are a few photos from our Maths Stations today. We do stations every day in Maths. Today Junior Infants were sorting and making snakes of different lengths. Senior Infants were exploring different ways of making 5 and 10.
We found a moth in the playground today. We all took turns holding him. We were very careful not to damage his wings.
It was raining this morning so we got to have some wet play inside. We were working on our fine motor skills.
