Some fun activities for Creative Week this week. I've included an example of an Irish poem to kickstart your own imagination.
A little bit of Creative writing for Creative Week. Look through the Story Prompts PowerPoint and choose one of the prompts as a stimulus for own story. (You do not need to print this out)
Dear parents,
We have arranged for your child’s/children’s school books, copybooks and belongings to be collected from the school on Thursday 11th June. End of Year School reports will be available on this day also. Please bring back your child’s/children’s rental books. A record of the books returned will be taken, as those damaged or not returned will be charged for in full. Here is a list of the rental books; 5th Class: Rainbow Stage 4 – Above the Clouds – Portfolio Rainbow Stage 4 – Above the Clouds – Book 1 Abair Liom G Busy at Maths 5 Graded Readers x 2 6th Class: Rainbow Stage 4 – Flying High! – Portfolio Rainbow Stage 4 – Flying High! – Book 2 Abair Liom G Busy at Maths 6 Graded Readers x 2 Please have these books in a plastic bag and clearly label with your child’s name and a list of the books enclosed. The following times have been assigned. Those whose surname begins with A-L please attend anytime between 12:00 and 13:00 and those whose surname begins with M-Z please attend anytime between 13:00 to 14:00. If these times are not suitable please arrange to swap with another family and we will accommodate you accordingly. You are invited to please remain outside the school wall and staff will be on hand to assist you. Please adhere to the 2 metres social distancing protocol as per public health guidelines.
