I can't believe it is the last day of term, it was definitely a different kind of year. Firstly I want to congratulate you all on on a fantastic years work. I'm sad that it was cut short and that we didn't get to experience all of the things we would of liked to, but I am blown away by how well you have coped with working from home. We have new bakers, new chefs, new musicians, new gardeners. You have also developed an interest in new things and activities. You have learned to adapt when life needs you to and have become more resilient. You have grown as people. This experience was unlike any other we have seen, you have lived through an important moment of history and you have all been AMAZING. You should be so proud of yourselves, and I am very proud of you.
And as for 6th class, I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS. You have been an excellent class throughout your time spent in Scoil San Nioclas. It probably doesn't seem like that long ago when you were starting out in Junior Infants. We have enjoyed getting to know you, watching you grow and achieving so much in your eight years with us. It has not been easy on you in the last few months especially, missing out on many activities, but I hope that today you step back and remember the good memories and all of the wonderful experiences you have had throughout the years.
You have brought joy to the classroom and made me laugh each and every day. You have a special bond with one another, which I am sure will last a lifetime. You have made friends for life in Scoil San Nioclas and I hope you continue to look out for one another in the months and years ahead.
You are on to the next exciting journey and I hope you grab the opportunity with both hands. You can achieve anything and believe in yourselves and your own capabilities.
I hope you all keep your wonderful sense of humour and keep smiling those beautiful smiles. I will miss you all so much, but I know you are ready to start your new chapter. GOOD LUCK!
I hope you all have a fantastic summer!
See you all soon,
Ms.Savage.
