This months story of the month is by Grace Gormley in 1st class
A fall of snow
Ciara woke up on a chilly, frosty and snowy morning. She wished she could stay in her warm, snug and cosy bed.
Suddenly her little sister Anne burst through the door. 'Get up! Get up!' she shouted. There's no school, no school.
Ciara was so excited that she flung the sheets off her bed. She quickly got dressed and ran down stairs with Anne.
Ciara ate her breakfast and ran outside first. Soon Anne came out and they had a snowball fight. Ciara threw a big snowball t Anne but Anne jumped out of the way. It went over the fence and hit her friend. Bella got a big fright but she threw a big snowball back at Ciara. She joined in the game. Soon it was time to go inside. Bella came in too and they all had hot chocolate and some biscuits. It was a fantastic day.
Well done to all the children in 1st and 2nd who completed excellent projects about India. We are having an India party in our classroom at the end of the month and we are all very excited to show off our hard work to the other classes and decorate our classroom. We even have a sari to dress up in.
