It has been brought to our attention that there is an outbreak of "Hand, foot and mouth disease". As this is contagious please be vigilant for the signs and symptoms:fever, poor appetite, sore throat, headache, irritability, painful red blisters in the mouth including tongue and gums, red rash on hands and the soles of feet- this rash can be painful but usually not itchy. Children who have and are being treated for hand, foot and mouth cannot return to school until well and all blisters have dried up. All appropriate cleaning and sterilisation action will be taken by the staff of Scoil San Nioclás.
