Be Active A.S.A.P. has come to Scoil San Nioclás!
Be Active is an after school programme that introduces children to fun physical activity in a familiar, structured setting, with an emphasis on enjoyment, learning and variety of activity. The programme aims to improve the attitudes of both children and their parents towards physical activity and lay the foundation for positive, lifelong physical activity habits.
The boys and girls from 1st, 2nd and 3rd class are taking part in Be Active ASAP this year and so far are really enjoying it. Miss Kelly runs Be Active every Monday after school with the help of some parents. The parents take it in turns to come and give a hand. Everybody has great fun! At the minute we are working on our Gymnastics skills. The boys and girls are getting really good!
Over the year we will also be working on: Games, Dance, Athletics and Outdoor and Adventure activities.
